Once a domain service has been purchased through Kandeshop, the service will last for either one or two years, depending upon the customer's choice. Once this time period is coming close to expiring, reminders will be sent out 90, 60, 30, 14 and 5 days before the domain is to expire.
To renew any domains which are soon to expire, the customer will be responsible for paying the invoice to extend the service provided by Kandeshop.
Alternatively, the service can be completed through the 'client area' on the Kandeshop website. This also allows customers to manage their existing domains and register new ones.
Should a customer wish to move away from Kandeshop to a new registrar, Kandeshop will provide assistance with the process free of charge.
With Kandeshop working alongside Nominet, it is important that the information for all registrants is accurate, complete, and up to date.
Data is to be validated through third party sources, and will be further analysed by Nominet should the verification checks be failed.
Kandeshop is to take action regarding any registrants with verification issues – as notified by Nominet – to ensure that registrant data is accurate, complete and up to date.
Should a verification issue occur, Kandeshop will be in contact with the registrant to resolve the issue. Kandeshop shall act within 30 days of notice from Nominet.
The nature of the verification issue shall determine the information which is to be updated by Kandeshop. Documentation is to be checked with registrants to confirm and update such information.
Forms of documentation include: Drivers licence, utility bills, certificate of incorporation, certificate of registration, passports, etc.
Documentation is to be used to check and/or update the information of the registrant. The documentation and its information is to be verified with a member of Nominet’s Customer Services team.
Should the information fail to be validated in the allotted timeframe, the domain name will be suspended.
